University of Kisangani (UNIKIS) seeks to hire two technicians for its computer network. Applicants must meet the following profile :

Job Description:

• the maintenance and administration of central servers and peripherals, and workstations
• managing an IT service: servers and routers hardware connections and service personnel and technical teams,
• oversee communications procedure, maintain the system, retrieve statistics and install new applications;
• ensure the smooth operation of computer hardware and connectivity;
• to listen new technologies to change the device;
• develop applications where a definite need;
• to test and install computer hardware, software, networks and software operating systems
  
• coordinate access and use of networks Computer
• provide services to network users in response to problems experienced;
• establish procedures for data security, software and hardware;
• document any activity of the service: facilities, update, Management Changes ...

Education and Skills Requirements:

• Higher studies in Computer Science or technical
• Good knowledge in computer
• Master of office software and Internet
• Good command of French and ability to understand English
• Strong ability to learn and willingness to learn

Pros:

• Experience of at least 2 years in a computer unit (cyber cafe, computer service company, etc.).

• mettre en fonction les candidats sélectionnés et à leur payer un salaire mensuel correspondant à leur grade d’engagement. Ils pourront, en plus, percevoir la prime mensuelle accordée par le Projet UniversiTIC aux administrateurs réseau.
• assurer, vers Kisangani, le transport des candidats sélectionnés habitant une autre ville (Kinshasa, Lubumbashi, Bukavu, etc.)
• offrir, enfin, aux candidats venant d’ailleurs un logement.
