10 years wonderful celebration for the 10-year anniversary of Damad! Thank you all, dancers, musicians, those who made the "white cards" on Sunday night, the sound technicians who did a great job, and a big thank you to the team of volunteers who, with elected officials of the town, take the festival. For 10 years Damad was a happiness through ces éléments qui ont fait ensemble le festival : une équipe de bénévoles, une équipe technique, une programmation, des musiciens et des danseurs.
Avant de lancer de nouveaux projets, je voudrais rapporter ce que beaucoup d'entre vous m'ont dit avant de reprendre la route : tout ce qui a été fait cette année, et depuis 10 ans, par l'organisation du village de Coulans, est exceptionnel: l'ambiance chaleureuse, les multiples attentions portées à ce qui sera agréable, des décors à la nourriture, de la qualité du son à celui des parquets de danse... cela a fait de Damada a special encounter between people, between musicians and dancers ... And because it was done by volunteers, it also helped that our festival pays stakeholders, while maintaining the lowest rates possible ... One word summary: "Thanks."
After 10 years of preparation and service during the festival, many of the volunteer team and around Coulans, want a break. They obviously do not lose interest and the festival will be there to help us take over in the best conditions.
