April 24, 2010, the Ministers of Scientific Research and Higher Education and University in the DRC gave CEDESURK a second building to develop activities to support research and higher education. Simultaneously, the CEDESURK CRGM and agreed to strengthen their synergies together to form a center of scientific reference in the middle of the city of Kinshasa. 
Five months later, the rehabilitation of Hangar starting with the financial support of the CUD, the VLIR-UOS and WBI. 
The new space will house under construction including representations of the two Belgian university cooperation, projects of digital inclusion of Universities (UniversiTIC) and hospitals (eb @ the-health). 
The reproduction unit that publishes the syllabus and lecture notes will also be moved to larger premises and comfortable. 
3 new learning spaces will host throughout the year workshops, seminars and conferences. soon as April 2011, the first occupants may enter into their new premises.
